 How can an eight year old kid inspire you while you build your Send Out Cards empire? Read on.                                       

 A few weeks ago I bought a Lego set for my eight year old son. Not one of the small 50 piece sets but a 400+ piece mammoth. I was extremely pleased with my choice after seeing the excitement in his eyes and his determination to get started right away. He did just that.

 He immediately took the box to the kitchen table, opened it up and carefully organized each bag of pieces. He then grabbed the instruction booklet and started with Step One. He was on a mission to complete this project and would not rest until it was finished. Unfortunately bedtime came before he was done and getting him to go to sleep was no easy task.

 Early the next morning, I was shocked to find him already up and back to work. He's normally the last one up in our house but not on this day. His eyes glanced up gave me a quick "good morning" then tuned the world out in the blink of an eye.

 As I prepared my coffee before heading over to my laptop to check my emails, I couldn't help but stop and admire his hard work and determination. Then it came into focus. What he has accomplished with this Lego set is not much different than my own Internet Marketing Business. In fact the similarities are uncanny.

-They both come with manuals              
-They both provide simple 1-2-3 steps
-They are both proven to work (if you follow the steps correctly)
-They both provide outstanding support
-They both teach to build from the ground up
-As each piece is added the foundation of both become stronger and stronger
-The more you build the easier and more rewarding both become
-Neither expects you to have the skills or know how before getting started

 Now of course a successful Send Out Cards Business can't be built overnight but then again neither can some of those Lego sets.

 Neither my son or I had the skill set when we first started. Lego taught my son and a system and community of master marketing mentors taught me. What we shared however was the right attitude and commitment to doing whatever it takes to succeed with our projects.

 As we focus so much on molding and teaching our children we should all take a step back and admire the characteristics of our kids. We can learn a lot from the eight year olds of the world. I'm sure there are several right in front of you that can keep you moving forward with your Send Out Cards business.
