This is a decision that I believe has been overlooked by most network marketers today. Especially those who have decided to pursue Internet marketing. Most get so caught up in the excitement of setting up web pages and marketing themselves that they ignore one of the most important elements to achieving long term success. Isn't that what everyone who ventures into network marketing hopes to achieve? However this critical decision is rarely discussed within the attraction and Internet marketing communities.
Promoting the wrong business opportunity will most certainly spell disaster for those involved. Attraction marketing is a great strategy that allows even the novice marketer an opportunity to enter a realm normally reserved for a select few. The biggest mistake these novices make however is they continue to follow and not lead when it comes to choosing a primary business opportunity.
In order for any network marketer to succeed in attraction marketing they must be able to offer their prospects an Attractive Business Opportunity. Attraction marketing will absolutely NOT work without an Attractive Business Opportunity. Even the most experienced marketer will lose all credibility with their prospects if they offer an opportunity that doesn't excite the prospect. Remember, your leads and prospects are looking to you for help. If you offer them an opportunity that will hinder their chances of reaching their goals then they will most certainly look elsewhere and will no longer view you as a leader.
In order to be considered an Attractive Business Opportunity, it must meet ALL of the following requirements:
1. Marketing System. Your company must have a marketing system in place for every new rep to plug into. Your prospects aren't looking for the newest magic product to pitch on the internet. They're looking for solutions and a tested/proven turnkey marketing system is the answer.
2. Top Tier Direct Sales over MLM. Fact: It takes on average 3-5 years to build a large enough downline in MLM to earn any serious money in this industry. With a Top Tier Direct Sales Company, a successful internet marketer has the potential to make a five figure monthly income in just a few months.
3. The Three Year Rule. We've all heard this before. Avoid ANY company which hasn't made it past the three year mark. I can speak first hand on this issue, being one of the suckers that falls for the over-hyped, greatest ever PRE-LAUNCH.
4. Online Marketing Training. It still amazes me how few companies provide real marketing training for its reps. This one is actually pretty easy to overcome. Just spend a little time online researching the leaders in internet marketing. It's no coincedence that most are with the same few companies. Birds of a feather flock together.
If your Primary Business Opportunity doesn't meet ALL of these requirements, then take a step back and re-evaluate what you're doing. You can generate leads all day long but if you can't convert your leads to rep's all your hard work will be for nothing. You may think your MLM is the greatest thing ever but it's how appealing and Attractive in the eyes of your prospects that really matter.
